New BOGOS Feature: Product Discount

We are excited to announce that Product Discount is now built right into BOGOS: Free Gift Bundle Upsell app – giving Shopify merchants a powerful new way to drive sales by applying a discount per product automatically in the cart, with no coupon code needed.

What is a Product Discount?

A product discount applies a discount per product in your store, and the discounted price applies automatically in the cart.

• Product Discount with the Bar widget style.

• Product Discount with the Banner widget style.

What makes Product Discount stand out?

• Limited discount uses: cap the total number of redemptions or limit to one use per customer to keep promotions in control.
• Override cents: set a custom cents value for the final price (e.g., $12.99 instead of $12.34) for cleaner, more appealing price endings.
• Built-in urgency: a customizable countdown timer motivates customers to buy faster by showing them exactly how long the deal lasts.

When to use Product Discount

Product Discount is built for merchants who want to move specific products faster without complicating the shopping experience. 

Here are some proven ways to use it with our BOGOS: Free Gift & Bundle Upsell app:

• Flash sale: Run a time-limited discount on selected products with a countdown timer to create urgency.
• Flat-price store sale: Set a fixed price across all products in your store(e.g., everything at $9.99).
• VIP or private sale: Use sub-conditions to show the discount only to specific customer tags, order history, or a special link – so loyal customers get a price others don’t see.
• Market-specific pricing: Set a custom discount value for each Shopify Market’s currency instead of relying on automatic exchange rates.

How to Set Up Product Discount by BOGOS App

As Product Discount is available now to all BOGOS users on all plans, you can set it up right away in just a few minutes:

1. Install BOGOS: Free Gift Bundle Upsell (free plan available).
2. On the BOGOS sidebar, open All Offers > Create Offers > Discount > Product Discount.
3. Fill in the offer information.
4. Define which products the discount applies to.
5. Set your discount type and value.
6. Click Publish.
7. Customize the countdown widget and the discount display.
