1. New Main Condition: Pack of Products 

BOGOS is proud to introduce the all-new “Pack of Products” main condition that hundreds of Shopify merchants have been asking for.

This exciting addition promises to create even more engaging and rewarding gift promotions for your customers.

1.1 What is it?

Imagine being able to offer promotions like:

“Buy A and B to get gifts”

“Buy 1A, 2B, 3C, 4D to get gifts”

“Pack of products” has just made that super easy! This new condition requires customers to purchase all the products you select to unlock the gifts, making it a powerful tool to increase average order value (AOV).

1.2 Why to use? 

Besides AOV benefit, it’s also perfect when you want to clear out slow-moving inventory or introduce new products by rewarding customers with desirable gifts, providing an enticing reason for them to increase their order size.

Otherwise, Shopify product bundle focuses on selling a group of products together at a discounted price, encouraging customers to buy more items in a single purchase.

1.3 Where to find?

You can now start exploring this feature simply by navigating to the BOGOS dashboard in your Shopify admin and clicking Create Offer> Main condition > Pack of products.

1.4 How does it work?

Here’s how you can make the most out of this new condition:

• Choose “Products” or “Variants”: Decide whether customers need to purchase the exact variants you select (variants) or if any variants will work (products). This gives you control over how specific your offer needs to be.

• Flexible Quantities: Customize the number of each product required to unlock the prize. Need customers to buy 1A and 2B? No problem! Or maybe it’s 3A 1B, and 2C? You’ve got it! This flexibility allows you to tailor promotions to meet your specific sales goals.

• More packs, More gifts (optional): Want to incentivize customers to buy even more? Enable the “Multiply gifts with number of packs” feature. This allows customers to earn additional gifts for each pack of products they purchase!

2. Fraud Protection

Our commitment to your security has led us to upgrade our fraud protection system, ensuring that your gift offers run smoothly and securely, even during peak sales with thousands of orders.

2.1 Two tiers of protection

BOGOS now offers two tiers of protection, catering to your specific needs.

Basic Protection: BOGOS will focus on canceling gift-only orders, providing a fundamental level of security.

Advanced Protection:

Taking it a step further, BOGOS will re-check all the orders after being created, adding an extra layer of security.

Orders with expired gifts, more gifts than the offer allows, or missing requirements might be canceled or held for review, depending on your settings.

2.2 Cart and checkout validation

By integrating Shopify Checkout Validation directly into our app settings, we’ve made it easier for you to manage and ensure your promotions run precisely as planned.

How does it work?

There are 3 checkout rules for you to select.

• Minimum cart value: Set a minimum amount customers need to spend (excluding gifts) before checking out, ensuring customers aren’t just checking out with gifts.

• Minimum cart quantity: Require customers to purchase at least a certain number of products (excluding gifts) alongside their chosen gifts.

• Maximum number of gifts per order: Limit the number of gifts customers can add per order, preventing accidental (or intentional) over-gifting.

You can choose that your customers’ carts must meet ALL or just any of the selected conditions before completing their purchases.

2.3 Where to enable?

Enabling these features is straightforward and can be done directly within the app settings. In Settings, scroll down to the end, and then you will find Fraud protection feature here:

3. BOGOS Plan This June

In our ongoing efforts to enhance the BOGOS app, we’re excited to announce our focus for next month (June):

3.1 Quantity Breaks

This allows you to offer discounted prices as customers purchase larger quantities. 

Ex: 1-2 products: $50 each

       3-5 products: $45 each

       6 or more: $40 each

BOGOS is going to develop this feature to help you encourage bulk purchases, boost sales volumes, and increase average order values (AOV).

3.2 Bundle analysis

Regarding bundles, BOGOS understands the necessity of tracking their performance. 

Therefore, we are planning to publish our new bundle analysis. This will allow you to track how well your product bundles perform, gain insights, and optimize your bundles for better results!
